Manuel is a Claims Risk Management Executive with 20 years of experience in the fields of Claims / Risk Management. Experience includes Claims Dispute, Resolution of Conflicts between multiple parties, Claims Mediation, Risk Management, and Complex Claims across multiple markets. 

Samuel is a Catastrophe Adjusting Supervisor for Charles Taylor. His role includes managing complex commercial property losses from our Alpharetta, Georgia headquarters, and coordinating teams in the United States as well as Caribbean and the Bahamas post-catastrophe. With two decades of experience, he has spent 12 years with a multinational insurer and 8 years as an independent adjuster, specializing in large losses across commercial, agricultural, and residential sectors. He has handled significant Commercial Crime claims, including multimillion-dollar embezzlement and fraud cases, and managed Product Recall and Warranty losses across North America. His work has taken him to various global locations, including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdon and several Caribbean islands. In Canada and the United States he has overseen large teams of catastrophe response adjusters, collaborating with key stakeholders in the efficient handling of disaster event losses. His expertise spans industries such as hospitality and retail, dealing with diverse claims from hotels to agricultural losses.

Yovan is licensed in Québec, holding a full AMF licence, and also handles files in Ontario.

In 2012, he obtained his AMF license and worked five years for a bilingual national insurance company, acting as a desk adjuster, adjusting files all across Canada, including automobile, residential, commercial, high net-worth clients, and specialty accounts. 

In 2016, Yovan began working as a bilingual field adjuster for an independent adjusting boutique firm in Québec, handling a wide range of property and casualty claims, mostly in the commercial sector; along with residential, automobile, environmental, fire related to fraud, and agriculture cases. 

He most recently worked for an international independent adjusting firm acting as a National TPA, Examiner & Adjuster. He also has experience with Lloyds’ London market claims. 

In November 2022, Yovan joined Charles Taylor situated in Québec City, and will be handling Québec losses.
