Thorsten began his career in the civil aviation industry in 1994 in the field of aircraft maintenance before entering the aviation insurance Market in 2013 and has qualifications and wide-ranging experience on large commercial aircraft and engines obtained during various roles in line and heavy maintenance, aircraft acquisitions, and Quality Assurance / Manufacturing Processes. The latter includes employment with Boeing at Everett covering inspections and maintenance of newly manufactured aircraft during the final assembly, flight testing, and delivery process.
