Richard has more than 25 years’ experience of adjusting technical and engineering claims and risk consultancy.
He specialises in Construction/Erection All Risks and associated DSU/ALOP, Machinery Breakdown and associated Business Interruption, Professional Indemnity for Contractors, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other Professionals, Public and Products Liability. 
He also undertakes risk surveys of technical risks and provides risk engineering to some of the world’s largest construction projects. 
Richard undertakes research and has presented papers to conferences in Japan, USA, Middle East and Europe and had numerous articles published in the insurance and technical press. 
He is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Engineering Insurance Association (IMIA). He regularly provides seminars on a variety of subjects including risk surveying/engineering, advanced loss of profits, contingent Business Interruption, Professional Indemnity and natural perils including earthquake and subsidence.
