Over the past decade, Peter has been working in the maritime industry as an engineering officer aboard various marine vessels for both US and foreign based shipping companies, and as a consultant and surveyor for multiple marine surveying companies.

As Senior Engineer Surveyor at Charles Taylor Marine Technical Services, Peter performs an array of maritime and engineering casualty investigations and inspections in order to advise and assist instructing principals with loss and risk mitigation, as well as marine and general engineering analyses. Peter earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in marine engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College (Fort. Schuyler) and currently holds a United States Coast Guard assistant engineer’s (unlimited horsepower) license of steam, gas turbine and diesel propelled vessels.
