Nicholas La Stella studied law in the UK and entered the loss adjusting profession in 2005 with Studio Bolton in Italy. 
He joined Charles Taylor Adjusting in 2010 and was seconded to Miami for three years, after which he returned to London. 
In May 2015 he relocated from London to Rome, to open CTA’s first Italian office, and later also opened a branch in Milan in 2020. 
In 2021 Nicholas was promoted to Head of Specialty Lines at CTA and in 2023 Nicholas became CTA’s Deputy Head of Continental Europe.
During his career he has been based in Miami (USA), London (UK), Rome (Italy) and currently resides in Barcelona (Spain).
He is bilingual in English and Italian and speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese and French.
