Guntur joined the company in 1984 after graduating from law school. He holds the Indonesian Certified Adjusting Practitioner (ICAP) qualification. Guntur has more than 30 years of experience in handling all types of hull machinery claims including general average, collision/salvage, particular average, and the adjustment of claims under Builders' Risk, loss of hire policy, etc. He is currently the Managing Director of Charles Taylor Adjusting Indonesia/PT Radita Hutama lnternusa with professional staff in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Balikpapan, Palembang, and Pekanbaru servicing the insurance industry in property & casualty, construction & engineering, natural resources, power & renewable energy, technical & special risks, marine hull adjusting, marine cargo surveying & adjusting, recovery, and TPA. Guntur was the Chairman of Asosiasi Penilai Kerugian Asuransi Indonesia (The Association of Indonesian Insurance Adjusters) in 2003-2008.
