A Master Mariner and Senior Marine Surveyor with more than 30 years' experience in the maritime industry serving aboard and surveying a wide variety of large commercial vessels and yachts. Glenn's strong vessel operational background has afforded him the insight in conducting comprehensive investigations for P&I clubs, H&M underwriters and Marine underwriters.
Glenn has managed numerous surveys relating to vessel condition, pre-purchase, valuation, vessel casualty damage, JH 2013 surveys, trip and tow surveys and warranty surveys. Conducted multiple surveys involving cargo damage, cargo condition, facilities damage, warranty surveys and consulted and monitored shipment of project cargo. Investigated cases and deposed as an expert witness in personnel injury and vessel grounding cases, led investigations determining root cause of cargo handling shortfalls due to procedural gaps between vessel and terminal.
Glenn managed numerous dry dockings of large commercial vessels for routine repair, modifications and casualty repair, included spec writing and fiscal control. Routine regular interactions with vessel regulatory bodies both domestic and abroad, led teams during multiple inspections for vessel safety and cargo carrying approvals.
