He started his career in the insurance area at the state-owned Oil and Gas company with technical functions of hiring, risk survey and management (up and downstream) and claims. As claims coordinator he oversaw the department.
In the Insurance Market, Leonardo joined as senior loss adjuster in an international loss adjusting company where he was responsible for managing large loss claims, Oil & Gas and Energy. For more than 6 years he held the position of Country Manager and was the Head of the Group's Oil & Gas Division.
