Andrew is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Insurance Loss Adjuster with more than 25 years’ experience in the Natural Resource and Construction sectors with a focus on managing complex onshore and offshore losses involving significant property damage and Business Interruption.
Previous experience as a design and construction engineer across both the mining / minerals processing and Natural Resources sectors. Specific maintenance and construction projects conducted for mining, crushing and processing operations across various bulk and precious metals commodities.
Andrew also holds design and installation experience involving oil and gas subsea (pipelines) and topside assets (rotating equipment) for oil majors within Australia and Asia. He commenced loss adjusting in 2000 and holds extensive experience in the management of complex and large losses including underground mine collapses, rolling stock train derailments, rotary kiln failures, large machinery fires, heavy mining vehicle rebuilds, subsea flowline and manifold failures, power station and LNG refinery losses (fire, explosion and damage resulting from defects etc). Many of these losses are on behalf of International and local Insurers and have been several hundred million dollars in value. Some of these claims benefitted from novel mitigation measures deployed to reduce the ensuing interruption.
