Andrew joined Richards Hogg Lindley in 2011 after graduating with an LLB (Hons) in Law with French from the University of Sheffield, which included a year studying law and economics in Aix-en-Provence, France.  
In 2013, he transferred to Jakarta, Indonesia as Technical Advisor, with management responsibility for the Marine division   
In 2015, he returned to London - qualifying as a Fellow of the UK Association of Average Adjusters in 2017

Heather joined Richards Hogg Lindley, the average adjusting division within the Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA) marine team in London, in November 2010. She is involved predominantly in adjusting complex hull and machinery damage claims and salvage and general average claims involving a number of different property interests. She is also actively involved with yacht claims management and adjusting.  Heather was seconded to our Hong Kong office in 2013 during which time she worked principally on hull and machinery claims and general average losses. She also worked in our Jakarta office, assisting with training, before returning to London in 2014.  She qualified as a Fellow of the UK Association of Average Adjusters in April 2017. She joined the Dubai branch of CTA, as a Director for marine, in February 2018.

     Notable Assignments  Average adjusting hull and machinery claims on a number of different policy conditions (Institute Time Clauses, Nordic Plan, American Hull clauses etc).  Large, complex general average and salvage claims involving a number of different contributing property interests (cargo, shipowner, time charterers etc).  Large security collections.  Collision liability and recovery claims.  Cargo claims.  Loss of earnings and business interruption.  Yacht claims. Most recently she has worked on a number of yacht claims arising from damage sustained during Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean in September 2017.  

James joined Richards Hogg Lindley in August 2013.He qualified as an Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters in 2014 and is working towards his fellowship exams.He has experience of handling a variety of hull and machinery claims, predominately in the Indian and Gulf markets.
He also has experience with handling loss of hire claims.He has been involved in various large security collection cases.

Phillip joined Richards Hogg Lindley in August 2013.
He qualified as an Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters in 2014 and is working towards his fellowship exams.
He has experience of handling a variety of hull and machinery claims, predominately in the Indian, Gulf and Singaporean markets.
He also has experience with handling loss of hire claims.He has been involved in various large security collection cases.
He gained additional experience and market exposure during a 12 month secondment to our Singapore office in 2016.

Steven joined us in 2000, with an Electronic Engineering background. In addition to preparing adjustments for various overseas clients, he is also responsible for overseeing the large security collection cases handled by Liverpool office.  He qualified as an Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters in 2008

Angeliki Kallini has been an Average Adjuster with Richards Hogg Lindley (RHL) since 2008 and has spent time working in RHL’s London office. 
She qualified as an Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters in 2010 and as a Senior Associate in 2015 when she became the Adjusting Manager of RHL’s Piraeus office. 

She is also lecturing at the Marine Insurance course of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS). 

She has a bachelor degree in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus and an LLM in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton. 
In 2019, she became a Fellow of the Association of Average Adjusters and was promoted to Director.

Edmund Chen graduated with a master's degree in Law from National Taiwan University of Marine Science  Technology. 
After 2 years army service, in which he served in the Legal Affairs Department on Mastu Island, Edmund Joined OVAS (the Taiwanese representative of CTC Services) in 1982 and took over the responsibility of running the office in 1987. 
During his time with OVAS he has gained considerable experience in all aspects of hull and cargo work and of Taiwanese insurance law and practice. Edmund is a member of the Taipei Surveying Association. 
He is also a fellow researcher and occasionally an appointed arbitrator to the marine section of the Commercial Arbitration Association of the Republic of China (R.O.C.)

Toshiya has been with the group since 1992, initially training as an average adjuster and later becoming Director of CT Tokyo. 
He works closely with the major Japanese insurers and corporate assureds both in Japan and throughout the Asia region and has considerable experience handling all aspects of marine cargo and hull work, including casualty management. 
He is fluent in both written and spoken English.

Dan joined Charles Taylor Adjusting in 2025 as a consulting surveyor following a 21-year engineering sea-going career serving on a variety of vessels including military support vessels with the UK Royal Fleet Auxiliary, DP2 drill ships and classic superyachts.

Since coming ashore in 2023, after seven years sailing as Chief Engineer on an 80m classic motor yacht, Dan moved to Lloyd’s Register as a marine and offshore surveyor working with the oil majors surveying offshore gas installations.

Dan holds a Class 1 CoC Unlimited Chief Engineer Qualification and HND in marine engineering, provides technical consultancy, and travels to site for casualty related marine survey/claims matters, specialising in cause of damage investigations.

Alex joined Richards Hogg Lindley in September 2015.  
He qualified as an Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters in 2016 and is working towards his fellowship exams.  
He has experience handling a variety of hull and machinery claims from various geographical regions.  
He also has experience handling hull and machinery and loss of hire claims on Nordic Plan conditions.  
He has assisted on the large General Average security collection cases.     

Alex joined Richards Hogg Lindley in 1997 after graduating in Latin American studies from Liverpool University. He has spent time working in the Mexico, Houston, Sydney and Hong Kong offices and has experience of handling a wide variety of hull and machinery claims, predominantly involving the Latin American, Gulf and Asian markets. Alex qualified as an Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters in 2008.

Andrew has a law degree and joined the company in January 1982. 
He is a qualified Fellow of the Association of Average Adjusters and is also qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). 
In his adjusting career he has specialised in handling hull & machinery and general average claims for clients in the Middle East and Gulf regions, the UK, Russia, Ukraine and the other countries of the former Soviet Union. 
From September 2000, to May 2008, Andrew worked for the Charles Taylor P&I division as Manager of the Standard War Risks Association. 
He was also a Syndicate Claims Director with responsibility for handling the P&I claims for members principally in the UK, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Argentina and Chile. 
Andrew is an experienced lecturer and trainer, having given talks and presentations to clients and at seminars both in the UK and overseas.

Colin spent the first 20 years of his career working for an average adjuster in Liverpool before moving to the Maritime Insurance Co. working in their Manchester office for 16 years. After a brief change of direction he has now returned to his marine roots in Liverpool joining CTA in August 2010.

Joined RHL as a Trainee Average Adjuster in 2021.
Handling small General Average claims and complex Hull and Machinery (H&M) claims on behalf of H&M underwriters.
Assisting offices overseas with large General Average losses, including the Ever Given and Yantian Express, and carrying out post-issue work for Owners after the General Average Adjustment has been issued.
