Director of Charles Taylor Marine Technical Services UK, Phil has over 30 years' experience in the marine industry. His experience includes sea-going engineering on a wide range of vessels, technical management, Project Management Surveying, and Casualty Investigations for H&M Underwriters, P&I Clubs, and third parties. 

Throughout his career, he has conducted a wide range of H&M casualty investigations on a broad array of vessel types for Underwriters, as well as for numerous P&I investigations; condition and pre-purchase surveys, third-party company investigations, and internal casualty investigations; and has been involved with legal claims and court cases, worldwide.

Capt. Harsh has over 40 years of experience in the maritime industry and began his career as a deck cadet, serving onboard merchant vessels in various ascending capacities, obtaining his command in 1997. He spent 28 years at sea, 11 of them as a Master on bulk carriers with major global shipping lines where he faced numerous challenging situations. 
He then hung up his “sea boots” in 2008 and moved to Australia to work as a marine surveyor. He has been involved in conducting various surveys including damage surveys, risk surveys, discharging project cargo, numerous investigations relating to major maritime losses and surveys for various P&I Clubs.

Chad has over 18 years’ experience in the marine industry, focussing on recreational pleasure craft and commercial vessels, and barges as well as commercial fishing boats.

Specialising in marine mechanical and hull surveys, Chad has extensive knowledge across a variety of sectors, including mechanical, hull and the commercial fishing industries. Chad owned and operated one of the major marine engineering workshops in South Africa, servicing the entire recreational and commercial marine industry.

Manai joined Charles Taylor Marine Sdn.Bhd. business in Malaysia in 2001 as a Marine Surveyor.
He regularly undertakes P&I surveys, especially reefer cargoes. He has been in the business for over 5 years and is also involved in general cargo surveys for underwriters. Manai is also experienced in loading/ lashing surveys for project cargoes and towage approval surveys.
