About This Individual
  • Sheila joined Charles Taylor Adjusting in 2000 where she is now Senior Loss Adjuster in the Energy Division.
  • She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in Chemical Engineering with Great Distinction in 1983.  Sheila then joined the provincial energy regulator in Alberta where she became the Drilling and Completions Team Lead before leaving in 1997.  She became a consultant for the oil industry and instructed several courses at Calgary’s technology college, SAIT, until 2000.
  • Sheila is experienced in adjusting large losses including a $45M pollution claim, a $25M OEE claim, and a$10M Civil Authority Claim at a SAG-D Facility near Fort McMurray in 2016.

  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) registered with  the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (​BSChE) with Great Distinction, University of Saskatchewan
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) as accredited by the Insurance Institute of Canada
