About This Individual
  • Richard qualified as a Licenced Aircraft Engineer in 1992 and currently holds extensive UK CAA EASA Part 66 A, B1 and C licence categories covering a wide range of narrow and wide body commercial aircraft.
  • Richard Joined CTA in 2015 and will has been based in our Dubai office since January 2016.
  • He qualified as a licenced Aircraft Engineer with Fields Aviation in 1992. He then spent time at Monarch Airlines and British Airways before joining Virgin Atlantic in 1997.
  • Richard has gained experience in all areas of maintenance within the aviation industry including heavy base maintenance and major modification programmes and line and casualty maintenance within Europe and North America.
  • He entered the aviation insurance market in 2012 as a Hull Surveyor handling a number of complex General Aviation and Airline losses.

  • Airbus A318/319/320/321 with CFM 56/V2500 Type Rating

  • Airbus A340-300/600 and Rolls Royce Trent 500 Type Rating
  • Boeing 747-400 and CF6-80C2 Type Rating
  • BTEC ONC – Aerospace Engineering
