We provide a complete Captive Management service, from initial feasibility studies to the establishment and management of captive insurance companies.

We set up and manage traditional single-parent captives, group captives and provide turnkey segregated cell companies offering ease of implementation and exit to our clients. We currently manage over 100 segregated cell and 40 single parent, group and agency programmes.

We provide end-to-end captive management services and bespoke services that can be accessed by captives on a stand-alone basis.

What are Captives?

Captives are insurance companies that are formed and wholly owned by organisations to self-insure some or all of their own risk exposures. Captive insurance provides a cost-effective solution for businesses to manage their ﬁnancial risks.

Including formulation of investment guidelines, asset manager selection, investment monitoring and accounting.

Financial reporting:
Comprising bookkeeping, ﬁnancial record keeping, preparation of ﬁnancial statements and regulatory ﬁnancial ﬁlings.

Audit services:
Including coordinating and monitoring external auditors, assisting auditors with examination of internal controls and preparation of working papers.

Regulatory reporting services:
Including tax ﬁlings, monitoring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing and ﬁling regulatory returns.

Captive Programme Management Services

We develop and implement insurance programmes on behalf of captives to ensure their risk exposures are identiﬁed and mitigated. This means the captive’s owner can gain maximum advantage from
self-insurance. Our services include:

Assisting in programme structures and risk evaluation.
Issuing quotes on new and renewal policies, policy issuance, and preparation of certiﬁcates of insurance, endorsements and invoicing for premiums.
Ensuring reinsurance placements follow primary coverage and provide appropriate protection.
Evaluating and recommending to the client reinsurance placement alternatives.

Company Secretarial Services

We ensure the eﬃcient administration of captives, by providing complete company secretarial and board meeting administration services, including:

Coordination of shareholders’ and directors’ meetings.
Solicitation of meeting proxies.
Reservation of accommodation and other necessary arrangements for board, shareholder and policyholder meetings.
Review of technical aspects of meeting minutes.
