Charles Taylor, a leading provider of services and technology solutions to the global insurance market, has today announced the appointment of Richard Lance as Client Director to its Adjusting business in Australia.

 

Richard is well-respected in the complex loss space with over 30 years of insurance industry experience for adjusters, underwriters and most recently brokers. Prior to joining Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA), Richard was the Pacific Claims Manager of a major global broker, managing numerous multi-million losses in the region and claims leadership for APAC.

 

He has comprehensive experience in managing large and complex claims particularly on property and natural resources lines of business spanning the Asia Pacific region with focus on Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Island nations which will benefit the wider CTA business considerably.

In his new role, Richard will be based in Sydney, Australia, and report directly to Andrew Hodkinson, Regional Head Australia & New Zealand.  He will be responsible for enhancing and growing existing and new client bases alongside Adjusters, ensuring the very best use of Charles Taylor’s services to the client’s benefit.

 

Richard’s work will involve multiple product lines including Natural Resources, Property & Casualty, Cyber, Professional indemnity, TPA, and bespoke offerings such as class action support. He will ensure that Charles Taylor matches its technical offerings efficiently to its multinational and domestic clients.
